Striped Sweater Dress Surprise

I bought this sweater dress for a bargain at a consignment shop last year while it was still warm out. I had almost forgotten about it, but I saw it hiding in my closet yesterday and decided to wear it. I love the surprise of overlooked closet gems.

However, it turns out another surprise was in store. I found a hole in my new old dress, too large to repair and in a noticeable area. I have no idea if it was there when I bought it or if I need to buy some moth balls. Luckily my tights hid it well enough for it to get one good wear. Tricky closet, very tricky.
