Party Ready in Sequins and Snakeskin

Over the weekend I went to a surprise 60th birthday party for my friend Lindsay's mom. It was so much fun, and the look on her face when she saw the huge group of people there to surprise her was priceless.

It made me think about how Aaron and I surprised my mom on her 60th birthday a couple years ago by showing up unannounced (to her) in Hawaii, where she lives for part of the year. That was by far the biggest surprise I've ever pulled off--she was shocked!

This is what I wore for the surprise shindig Saturday. Nothing says a party like sequins, right?
