This scrumptious Turkey Fried Rice (printable here) makes a healthy weeknight meal that is a definite crowd-pleaser. I wanted to share it with you, but I also wanted to talk a little bit about the “gastronomique” portion of this blog.
When telling people about my blog, I can easily categorize the fashion aspect: this is definitely a personal style blog. However, I hesitate to also call myself a food blogger. I read several food blogs religiously, and I can’t seem to put myself in the same category.
My focus is predominantly fashion, but I enjoy doing food posts weekly mainly because I like to cook. Mind you, I’m no chef; I’d put myself in the “home cook” category. I like finding recipes that are quick and easy to make and don’t require a million ingredients. I hope that every once in a while you find something that sounds good to you, or at the very least feel inspired to get in the kitchen more.
I also like to know what you’re cooking; I’m always looking for new ideas. Have you made anything yummy lately?
