Color Blocking in Brights

I feel like the alternate title to this post could be “How to Dress Like a Popsicle”. Or maybe a bowl of sherbet. (By the way, who else says sherbert? I always thought that’s what it was!)

I’m joining the Color Block party at Long Distance Loving today for Friday’s Fancies. For inspiration, I turned to two of my favorite bloggers for color-blocking expertise: this look from J’s Everyday Fashion and this one from Mix and Match Fashion. Both of these stylish gals always impress me with their mad color-blocking skills! 

I remember when this trend emerged, and I was nervous about wearing so many bold, bright colors together. Now, I love trying new and unexpected color combinations. The bolder, the better!
