Yes, I know, I'm wearing stripes. Again. And I'm also shamelessly displaying my love of Twilight on my bookshelf. I do what I want, bitches. Just kidding, I know I can't sound tough even when I try. Apparently, on New Year's Eve night, I walked around telling people I was a badass. Yes, I'd had some (okay a lot of) champagne before I did this, but still the idea of me being a badass, and telling people I'm a badass, is pretty laughable.
Anyway, my state of badass-dom is beside the point here. The point is, I can't seem to stay away from the stripes. When I was perusing Orchid Grey's blog yesterday, I came across this rainy day look. As usual, I was instantly attracted to the striped top. Lately, I've also been drawn to unique color combinations, and I loved her navy ensemble, with turquoise tights, and a touch of red. So, I decided to keep the base the same, but do turquoise shoes (I can't bring myself to put on tights right now, even if the weather is chilly enough) and a red and navy necklace. I've looked to some of my favorite blogs a lot lately for inspiration, which makes me wonder how I got dressed in the pre-blog world!

I am in the same boat, no go on the tights. I love the shoes in this post! Pointy toed flats scare me but they look wonderful on you! I also like the tan belt, it's a nice change from black.
