She's Sun and Rain She's Fire and Ice (Sweet and Rough Challenge)

Last night, Aaron and I went to one of my favorite places, Spin Pizza, for dinner.  We've been so busy lately with all the house stuff, it was nice to have a night to just relax with some good food, wine, and conversation.  I figured a date night would be a good night to come up with an outfit for Jessica of What I Wore's style challenge.  Her challenge, called "sweet and rough", is to pair something feminine with something more edgy.  I wore a floral print ruffled dress, delicate jewelry, and a bow bobby pin in my hair.  To roughen it up, I put on a black military jacket, black wide belt, and black platform gladiators.  I love how the contrast in styles really balances the look, and I also surprisingly love the black and navy together.
