I've got another word to describe "la vie" today, and it isn't rose. But, since I'm wearing a rose pin, and "La vie en crap" isn't a song, I suppose I'll leave it be. Please don't misunderstand--I love my life, and I love our new house. Today just wasn't my day. For one thing, Ellie jumped our fence, again, which means we have to add some fencing to our yard. Also, we did our monthly budget today (a task that always leaves me stressed) and was reminded that my student loan payments are starting next month. Boy that grace period just flew by. And, to top things off, taking my car in for a routine check up today cost me quite a bit more than I was expecting. Maybe I need to start buying lottery tickets. I know that money can't buy love and all that, but I've never heard anyone complain about having too much of it.
Okay, I'm stopping right now. That is enough whining from me. Things could be a heck of a lot worse. I'm putting on my rose-colored glasses as we speak. Figuratively, that is. In reality, I have to wear reading glasses when I blog, so unless they make rose-colored reading glasses, I'll have to stick to my purple frames. Okay, it's time to watch my DVRed episode of House, so for now I bid you adieu.
